In a single day Closures Deliberate on Lengthy Seashore Freeway


COMMERCE (CNS) – Components of the Lengthy Seashore (710) Freeway will likely be closed within the Commerce, Vernon and East Los Angeles areas starting tonight so crews can do highway resurfacing and bridge-widening work.

The freeway will likely be totally closed between the Pomona (60) Freeway and the Santa Ana (5) freeways from 11 p.m. Friday to five a.m. Saturday and from 11 p.m. Sunday to five a.m. Monday, in line with Caltrans.

Additionally closed throughout these instances would be the eastbound and westbound connectors from the Pomona Freeway to the southbound Lengthy Seashore Freeway, the southbound Cesar Chavez Avenue on-ramp, the southbound Third Avenue on- and off- ramps and the southbound Whittier Boulevard/Olympic Boulevard on- and off-ramp.

Two of 4 lanes of the southbound Lengthy Seashore Freeway will likely be closed from the Pomona to the Santa Ana freeways from 5 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday.

Additionally closed throughout that interval would be the eastbound and westbound connectors from the Pomona Freeway to the southbound Lengthy Seashore Freeway, the southbound Cesar Chavez Avenue on-ramp, the southbound Third Avenue on- and off- ramp and the southbound Whittier Boulevard/Olympic Boulevard on- and off-ramp.
