WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Residents and companies on Singer Island in Palm Seaside County have apparently heeded the necessary evacuation orders forward of Hurricane Dorian.

Native 10 Information reporter Christina Boomer Vazquez spoke to Andrew Chan, a resident of Palm Seaside Shores, which occupies the southern tip of Singer Island.

For Chan, packing meant bringing alongside “the requirements, meals and water.”

One specific residence created a wall of sandbags to attempt to stop flooding from the storm.
